The phoenix is a mythical bird and it is a symbol of hope, renewal, rebirth, immortality, resurrection, solitude, and grace. Just like the phoenix emerges from its ashes, so can man after devastation and loss. The phoenix gives mankind hope and urges us to fight on. It asks us to keep up the human spirit.
The Oklahoma Phoenix Project is a grassroots organization that gives our local homeless population a fighting chance against the natural and societal elements that they struggle against every day. Please help us to support them by donating to our monthly supplies distribution fund or spending your time assisting us in our hands on efforts to improving their daily lives.
We believe it is our responsibility to help change the world for the better - one meal at a time.
Our Mission
The Oklahoma Phoenix Project (“OPP”) is a grassroot, donation-led 501 (c)(3)organization focused on raising awareness for and directly aiding the Homeless population of Oklahoma City and its surrounding areas. All donations to OPP are fully tax deductible. OPP meets the Homeless in camps and on the streets with food and necessary supplies as we combine our efforts to try to lift the Homeless up from the ashes and help them meet their basic needs.
